FAQ
Permanent soffit lighting questions
Don’t see your question? Call us at 949-795-2206.
Will the lights be noticeable during the day?
The X LIGHTS track is low-profile and color-matched, so it is designed to blend into your roofline when the lights are off. We are happy to show you examples during your consultation.
Can I use them every day, not just for the holidays?
Yes. Many homeowners use warm white as everyday architectural lighting, then switch to colors and patterns for holidays and special occasions.
How do I control the lights?
With the X LIGHTS app. You can change colors and brightness, save favorite looks and set schedules. We will help you get set up after installation.
Will my HOA allow permanent lighting?
HOA rules vary, so we recommend checking your association’s guidelines. The discreet daytime appearance is one reason homeowners choose permanent soffit lighting, and we can provide product information for an HOA review.
How long does installation take?
It depends on the size and complexity of your roofline. We will give you a time estimate along with your quote.
What about specifications and warranty?
